 มีผู้รายงานข่าวมายัง เว็บไซต์  siamupdate ว่า มีสาววัยรุ่นเมืองคอน เปิดบ้านขายใบกระท่อมให้วัยรุ่นในพื้นที่ โดยจะมีเอเย่นต์มาส่งให้ถึงบ้าน อ้างเห็นว่ารายได้ดี จึงขายหาเงินไว้ซื้อของใช้ และนม เลี้ยงลูกน้อย วัย 2 ขวบ กับ 8 เดือน ...

  พร้อมด้วย ร.ต.ท.โสรฬ มูสิกะนิลพันธุ์ ร.ต.ท.ไพศาล ใจห้าว และกำลังเจ้าหน้าที่อาสาตำรวจจำนวนหนึ่ง เข้าจับกุมตัว นางสาวกรรณิการ์ พรานชู อายุ 23 ปี ชาว อ.ทุ่งใหญ่ พร้อมของกลางใบกระท่อมจำนวน 20 มัดๆ ละ 20 ใบ ขณะนั่งวางขายให้กับกลุ่มวัยรุ่นอยู่บริเวณหน้าบ้าน สืบเนื่องจากเจ้าหน้าที่ทราบว่า ที่บ้านหลังดังกล่าว มีการจำหน่ายใบกระท่อมให้กับกลุ่มวัยรุ่นในพื้นที่มานาน จึงนำกำลังไปซุ่มดู เห็นวัยรุ่นเข้าออกจำนวนมาก ได้จังหวะบุกเข้าจับกุม และควบคุมตัว นางสาวกรรณิการ์ ไว้ได้ พร้อมของกลางเป็นใบกระท่อม

จากการสอบสวน นางสาวกรรณิการ์ ให้การรับสารภาพว่า ได้ขายใบกระท่อมจริงโดยจะมีเอเย่นต์จาก จ.สุราษฎร์ธานี นำมาส่งให้ครั้งละ 2 - 3 กิโลกรัม ในราคากิโลกรัมละ 1,300 บาท จากนั้น ก็จะนำมาแบ่งขายเป็นมัดๆ ละ 20 ใบ ราคามัดละ 100 บาท ซึ่งจะได้กำไรกิโลกรัมละ 700 บาท วันหนึ่งขายได้กำไรเฉลี่ยวันละเกือบ 2,000 บาท ซึ่งเห็นว่ารายได้ดี จึงยึดเป็นอาชีพ ขายมาแล้วหลายเดือน โดยอ้างว่าเงินที่ขายได้จะนำไปไว้ซื้อนม เสื้อผ้า และเครื่องใช้สำหรับเด็กอ่อน เพื่อเลี้ยงลูกน้อยที่ยังไม่อดนมถึง 2 คน วัย 2 ขวบเศษ และ 8 เดือน
